2026 Preseason Outlook

What’s Next

When the polls drop

This is an outlook, not a poll — on purpose. No outlet has published genuine 2026 preseason team rankings yet, and we won’t print numbers nobody has earned. Here’s the calendar:

Early July 2026 — Dave Campbell’s Texas Football unveils its Class 6A preseason rankings (5A and below follow).
August 2026 — MaxPreps’ preseason Top 25 and the Austin-area power rankings (KVUE, Statesman) post as camps open.

We’ll fold the real preseason polls in the moment they land — check back in July.
