The gifted, troubled QB at East Dillon — and, by a distance, the biggest FNL success story of them all.
Vince Howard arrived in the show's final two seasons — the gifted, troubled quarterback at East Dillon High. Michael B. Jordan was already magnetic; the rest of the world just hadn't caught up yet.
He has since become a global movie star through his partnership with Ryan Coogler — Fruitvale Station, the Creed trilogy (including his directorial debut), and Killmonger in Black Panther. In 2025 he played twin brothers in Coogler's vampire epic Sinners, which drew a record 16 nominations at the 98th Academy Awards and won four — including Jordan's first Oscar, Best Actor.
Up next he's directing and starring in The Thomas Crown Affair, a Miami Vice film, and Rainbow Six. He is, by a distance, the biggest FNL success story of them all.
